The exploits of Gulf War veteran Ledge Trabue consisting of the trilogy: The Muted Mermaid; Shaved Ice; and Chocolate Soup, has been nominated in the 2010 Best Fiction (Mystery/Thriller category) by the Military Writers Society of America!
